ADVAETA’s musical style is fun and direct, oscillating between the heavier canons of post- punk, sludge and the experimentation of no wave.

The three-piece, featuring Lani Combier-Kapel, Sara Fantry and Amanda Salane, hails from Brooklyn, NY and will be doing their first east coast tour in support of their 7′′, featuring Gold Thought Exit and Newo. Ranging from a variety of influences, including Spacemen 3, The Stooges and Joy Division, their sound is textural, lush and loud. Incorporating complex song structures and three part harmonies, they grind noise and melody into a rhythmic hypnosis.

There’s no question about it, ADVAETA will definitely get the spirit moving! So come and exercise your demons with these postpunk incarnates.

HOTPLATE: This Savannah local is known for its intense lin- gering sound that finds its home somewhere be- tween sludge antics and rock sensibilities. The four piece, consisting of Aaron Givens, Robert E Melton III, Patrick Hussey and Jacob Givens, sub- jects its sound to endless, melodic, metal-tinged post rock numbers, which lend a new meaning to the phrase “good old fashioned rock and roll”.

BLACKRUNE is the mystical conjuration of Savannah guitar mystic PM Goerner, found- ed in the summer of 2012 as a nexus of eerie adventure music and dark fantasy soundtracks, which weave together the moods of occult mystery, ancient history, science fiction, and modern fantasy to create a uniquely curious

heavy sound.
